In readiness for the Extended Producer Regulations which came into force in 2023, Wastecare Compliance Plc brought together the WeeeCare Plc, BatteryBack Plc, and PackCare Ltd compliance schemes which have been trading for over 15 years.

Wastecare Compliance Plc is a part of the Wastecare Group – one of the largest independent specialist waste management companies in the UK.

With over 150 collection vehicles, 9 regional recycling transfer stations, and 7 recycling centres, this enables us to convert our member’s waste batteries, WEEE and packaging into evidence.

We carry out over 1,000 collections per day from over 38,000 active accounts
We recycle over 300,000 tonnes pa of hazardous and challenging waste materials
We achieved 98.3% recycling and recovery performance across over 900 waste streams
We returned over £16 million to our clients from recovered materials in 2022
